Excellent suggestion! I'm on the Goodreads website now and will join. I can then add the button to my list of
favorite writings and add to my 2011 writing goals list (reading as a writer). Oh to have the time of the past where I could read 100+ books easily in a year. There are several titles you mentioned I will also revisit...I'm a Glimmer Train fan as well.

Welcome, Barbara, and thank you for commenting. :-)

I don't read nearly as much as I should ... too many books, too little time. And you're right, keeping track might spur me to read more. I also keep a list at Goodreads. Have you tried that?

I will visit your blog asap.

Hi Linda,
I love your blog as well as this list of items you are reading. I was working on a 2011 goal plan and noting getting back to a regular reading schedule as part of it. This idea of documenting it is a great way to stay on plan.

I enjoyed reading your list. It's a great idea and I think I'll create a similiar page for my own blog. :) I read Oral History not too long ago after reading a feature on the author in Writer's Digest. That was a very moving novel; great characters and such a sense of place! You might enjoy The Reluctant Fundamentalist--fascinating and well-written. I heard an interview with the author on NPR and it caught my interest. Happy writing!

I'm definitely enjoying Robin's book, Cynthia. Thank you for making me aware of it. I hope to be able to finish it by week's end because it's the second book of stories I meant to blog about last week!

Linda, I love seeing your list. For some reason, I've never clicked over here. I hope you're enjoying Robin's book.
