I’m excited! Tuesday I expect to have fourteen hours alone. I don’t have to leave the house. I don’t even have to cook dinner. What ever shall I do?
WRITE! And write some more. Edit and write. Revise and write. Did I mention I plan to write? I will spend the day in my robe and write. I will drink chai and eat homemade bread with lots of butter—and I will write!
Oh yes, before I forget—I WILL WRITE!
Sounds heavenly!

Homemade bread did you say? Uninterupted writing did you say? Don’t forget I know where you live. I like chai tea too. Watch out.

Tricia, do you brew your own chai? I have a few recipes, but today I’m using my “instant” blend. We should get together some afternoon for tea.

No kidding. My lunch hour is free today. Enjoy writing and don’t check your blog!

Dan, I’m just checking blogs and email on my lunch break … chai break, actually. The writing is going well today, but if you were inviting me for lunch, I’d love to do that someday. Just visited your blog and read your beautiful entry. Maybe if we hung out, I could absorb some of that. 🙂

I thought I would get 3 hours now that my kids were finally back in school (YIPEE) after Christmas break. I put my son down for a nap, thinking, this is my time!!! It’s been two weeks since I’ve had uninterrupted time. Apparently my son doesn’t think I deserve it. He’s in his room screaming, “MOM! ….. MOM! ….. MO-om” Sigh. No uninterrupted time for me. But I hope you’re enjoying yours. I’m not silently cursing you or anything.

Oh right, Kasie, like I don’t curse you when you announce that you’ve just written six more novels in the last week! 🙂

Well, Dan, unless you’d also like to have lunch with my favorite five year-old, I have only three weekdays free this month: 19th, 29th, and 30th.
