I realized this morning that it was time for a new post, but I had none written. One of my sons is visiting and he’s a magnet for the kids in the family, so I’ve had constant distraction since Tuesday, not to mention blankets, pillows, and air mattresses everywhere because, of course, they all want to spend the night. I have a tiny house, and everyone gathers in the living room, so imagine two or three conversations and the TV going at the same time—from dawn to midnight!
It’s all fun, but it’s a drastic change from my usual long hours alone. I’d forgotten what it’s like to have so little quiet. For those of you who write with little children around you all day, I commend you. I don’t know how you do it. Anyway, that’s the reason I have no post for today. Sorry.
Don’t forget me; I’ll return soon with my thoughts on … something. I guess you can read that as either threat or promise. 🙂
Looks like your house is the ‘it place’ right now- enjoy the crowd! We’re here & we’ll never forget you 🙂

Thank you, Alannah. I’m hoping my brain is writing in the background and I’ll have a flood of words after this hiatus.
