We have a winner in the book anniversary giveaway. I entered all the entrants’ names once, twice, three, four times per the rules and Random.org chose Christa Polkinhorn as the winner of the signed copy of The Brevity of Roses. Congratulations, Christa! Please send me your mailing address, so I can get your prize in the mail.
I’m sorry you couldn’t all win, but thank you for entering—and tweeting, plusing, and facebooking. I appreciate the free advertising. 🙂
Congratulations Christa Polkinhorn! A well deserved win. You will enjoy the story.

I feel happy and guilty at the same time. I read Brevity a while ago on my Kindle and I was hesitant to enter the contest and risk snatching it away from someone who hasn’t read it yet. But since I hardly ever win anything, I figured it can’t hurt. Lo and behold I won. Oh, well, I’m being selfish now and accept it. A wonderful book with such a great cover and personally signed by a favorite author of mine will have a special place on my bookshelf!

Congratulations Christa. I loved the book and now you will have a prized copy. Envious thoughts from the other side of the world (just kidding, I think).

Actually, Christa, only two entrants had not read the book (and one of them is now reading it on his Kindle), so the odds were in favor of a winner getting a “trophy” copy. 🙂 I don’t mind at all.
